No
one is happy on the Harwood ranch. Since her husband died, Billie (Gail
Strickland) feels she has to do everything on the ranch. Gramps (Richard
Farnsworth) is frustrated by aging and how his daughter treats him like a
child.
Ritchie
(Jason Horst) is pulling away, angry that his mother thinks the wild
mustangs that run over their property should be shot. When their foreman
(Don Collier) finally insists that shooting the horses is the only way for
the ranch to survive, Ritchie enlists the help of Gramps to stop it.
