While Little Joe is visiting his struggling rancher friend Morgan Tanner (Dean Harens), both men are forced to shoot at a horse rustler. One bullet finds its mark. Sheriff Fenton (Don Collier) tells them there is a $2000 bounty on the rustler, and though neither friend wants the blood money, they agree to split it. But suddenly Little Joe is meeting with the Sheriff alone - he is sure he is responsible for the shooting and he wants the entire reward.
